Leslie Kaminoff

Yoga Philosophy

I have only great things to say.  I’ve taken a lot of online courses for college and I have to say that Leslie’s surpasses them in all areas.  The handouts, the video, the audio and the transcription ensures that all the online students have multiple venues for getting the coursework based on their personal preference.  It’s amazing. – Jennie Wilson, NY, NY

Wow, so glad that I signed up for this course – I’m very excited about learning more – the aha moments are coming fast!  The concepts Leslie talks about are really hitting home for me, thank you.  -Mary McGovern, Paris, France

The book went into 12 printings before the newly-revised second edition of Yoga Anatomy was released on October 31, 2011, now with over 500,000 copies in print in numerous languages.

Leslie is the founder of The Breathing Project, a non-profit educational corporation dedicated to the teaching of individualized, breath-centered yoga practice and education. Leslie has also helped to organize international yoga conferences while serving as Vice-President of Unity in Yoga, and was part of the ad-hoc committee that established national standards for yoga teacher training. Prior to the formation of The Yoga Alliance, Leslie was a strong voice in the ensuing national debate regarding the application of those certification standards. This dialogue resulted in the creation of e-Sutra, an influential e-mail list and blog that has an active worldwide membership.
